It is an entire ceremony. Thanks to the careful preparation of green tea, all its nutrients are better preserved. It is important for you to know how to brew the drink in order to get all its healthy benefits as well as the incomparable flavor. The preparation process is not rocket science and anyone can do it at home. The utensils you need are found in every home, so this should not be a problem either.

The best way to brew green tea is through steeping. This might sound way too common, but the key is in the details. In order to get the best results, you have to have the right ingredients and the right utensils. It is up to you to choose the green tea that you want to prepare. It is better to opt for loose leaves rather than tea bags. The former are usually fresher and have more beneficial nutrients.

The water you use for steeping the leaves is also important. The best choice is spring water. It is not abundantly mineralized, but it still contains a sufficient amount of minerals. These will add to the taste of the tea. Moreover, they will aid the processing of the beneficial green tea nutrients in your body.

You can use any type of kettle to boil the water for the green tea. You also need a tea strainer or a small sieve in which to put the dried leaves. You should use a porcelain tea pot for steeping. Any other type of container might affect the flavor of the drink. If you are making tea for yourself only, you can do the steeping in a tea cup.

The first thing to do when preparing green tea is to measure the amount of dried leaves that you need. The best choice would be to have 5 grams of leaves per 8 ounces of water. Generally, you can use one teaspoon of leaves for preparing one cup of tea. Still, keep in mind that the amount will depend on the leaf form. For instance, if the leaves are very small a teaspoon will probably contain a little bit more than 5 grams. If the leaves are larger, the quantity will measure be a little bit less. That is why, if you want to be precise you can consider using a scale for measuring the exact amount you need.

The next step for brewing green tea is to prepare the water. This has its specifics as well. You should bring the water to the point of boiling and then stop the process. It is easier to notice the moment when you are using a standard kettle, but you might have to get a little bit of practice, if you have an electric appliance. In any case, the temperature of the water should be between 170 and 180F (77 to 82C). Once the water is ready, you can pour it into the cup or teapot. Let it cool down for a minute or two. In this way, the water will reach the perfect temperature for green tea, which is between 160 and 170F (72 to 77C).

The next step is to put the tea strainer with the dried leaves in the water. The steeping time is crucial for the flavor of green tea. The different varieties require different steeping times. Some leaves need to be steeped for just 30 seconds while others need 6 to 7 minutes. If there is no indication regarding the steeping time on the package of the tea, you should steep the leaves for anywhere between 2 and 3 minutes.

In addition, you might want to do some research on the sort of tea you are using. Another option is to rely on the trial and error method. The brewed green tea should have a very gentle taste much like pure water. It should not be bitter. If it tastes bitter you should reduce the steeping time until the drink tastes right.

After the seeping is complete, your green tea is ready for serving. It is best to let the beverage cool down for a couple of minutes before you drink it.

With all of the new research that is being done about green tea, there's no doubt that there are very few chemicals included in those green teas that are touted as herbal green teas. Green tea includes ingredients that are there naturally. They are herbal products that make green tea the healing beverage that it is.

The reality today, however, is that you can find green tea in many different forms besides the traditional tea bags and loose tea. You can now find green tea gum, green tea shampoo, green tea skin cream, green tea juice, and green tea well, almost everything. There's a reason for that. It's because green tea is all herbal all natural. When you go all natural, you are making a healthy choice for yourself as well as your family.

When people think of herbal teas, they general think of oolong or some other type of tea, but the reality is that green tea is truly the original herbal tea. It is made from the green tea plant that generally grows somewhere in Asia. Then the leaf is picked and dried. After that, it is steeped in boiling water but not too much! If you steep herbal green tea too much, you will lose the healing properties that come naturally!

Look at what research says about green tea as an herbal remedy for life's problems. Studies have shown that herbal green tea can affect conditions such as:

Diabetes

High Blood Pressure

Cancer

Alzheimer?s Disease

Obesity

High Cholesterol

And much, much more!

So many studies are being conducted daily regarding the benefits of herbal green tea and what it can do for the human body. While no study has ever really been completely conclusive, they still have shown that herbal green tea can help improve your quality of life and help combat disease.

If you have studies that prove that just drinking a hot cup of tea can help you combat Alzheimer's, why wouldn?t you want to try it if you have a family history? Consider the cancer card as well. If consuming just a few cups of herbal green tea a day could help you prevent getting cancer, why wouldn?t you?

When you really look at the health benefits of herbal green tea, you should really take heed of what the researchers say. Those researchers say that green tea can help heal and/or alleviate the symptoms of some pretty serious diseases. Take a cup of herbal green tea every day and then you can thank me later!

Green tea can be found in many forms besides bags and loose tea. Many people prefer green tea drops. Green tea drops is a highly concentrated form of the tea that you find in tea bags and loose tea. They contain all the same properties of tea in liquid form, but they are much more convenient than having to take the time to brew a cup of tea.

When you use green tea drops, you simply place several drops into a glass of hot or cold water, stir and drink. You can also place a few drops in your food as well such as soups or stews. Keep in mind that this will change the taste slightly, but probably not enough to notice.

Because green tea drops are highly concentrated, you will also be getting sort of a "super dose". For example, one product says that putting 30 drops into a glass of water will equal 12 - 15 cups of brewed green tea. Some people believe that to get the maximum benefits from your green tea consumption, you should consume as many as 15 cups per day. That's why using green tea drops can make it much easier to get your daily dose of green tea.

Green tea drops also come in various flavors like caramel, honey, and lemon. They are highly marketed online as well as in health food stores. You can find many different brands and choosing one is simply a matter of preference. You can buy one small bottle of green tea drops and it will last you for quite some time.

There are a variety of products that include green tea in them. For example, you can buy cough drops that have green tea in them. There is one product on the market that contains green tea in a cough drop form that can ward off a cold. You take the drop at the first sign of a cold and the healing properties of the green tea will either lessen the duration of the cold or stop it altogether.

One of the newest trends in the green tea business is in the beauty field. Because green tea has shown to have so many advantages, cosmetic companies have started including them in your products. Green tea beauty drops can help with the signs of aging such as wrinkles, fine lines, and age spots.

If you are looking for a way to get green tea into your diet, try using green tea drops instead of brewing your own tea. They are easy to use, convenient, and will still give you the same benefits from tea bags or loose tea.

Recent scientific studies have shown that people who use green tea to lose weight are consistently meeting with success in their weight loss goals. Green tea is not only good for weight loss; it's good for other ailments as well, so when you use green tea to lose weight, you are really doing your body a favor.

When you add green tea to your dieting regimen, you will find that it becomes easier to lose weight. Combine either the drink or a supplement along with a sensible diet and an exercise program, and you just might find that the pounds could drop off of you. Because green tea contains a large amount of antioxidants and EGCG, the weight loss benefits are huge, but the healing properties are even better.

Green tea has been shown to increase a person's metabolism thus speeding up the natural fat burners that exist inside the human body. Plus, using green tea as a part of a sensible weight loss program will increase your energy allowing you to have longer and more effective workouts.

The human body has its own rate of burning calories called thermogenesis. Normally, thermogenesis occurs at an 8 - 10 percent rate of normal energy expenditure without any supplements. Adding green tea to your goal to lose weight increases thermogenesis by up to 45 percent! That's huge when you consider that burning fat is what will cause your weight loss to occur in the first place.

If you want to incorporate green tea into your weight loss efforts, the best way to go about it is to choose a reputable brand of organic green tea that can be found at a health food store and even at your corner market. Start with a cup of tea every day. You can also find a green tea extra to lose weight in the form of a supplement.

Either way, you should definitely take the green tea with meals to obtain the maximum effect of the properties in the green tea that will help you lose weight. When the green tea increases your metabolism, you won't over stimulate your adrenal glands which will also aid greatly in your overall general health.

Using green tea to help you lose weight will definitely show you results in ways you never considered. But use it cautiously as green tea does contain a slightly larger amount of caffeine than normal beverages. If you are using green tea to lose weight and have a problem with caffeine, consider a decaffeinated brand or use it sparingly.

Proponents of green tea as a healing drink already know that putting green tea into your diet in any form is a good idea. So whether it’s a cold beverage, a hot one, pill or tablet form, you should drink at least 4 to 5 cups daily or take at least 300 milligrams in tablet or pill form.

Keep in mind when you drink green tea that the valuable antioxidants inside it can be negated by adding things like milk and sugar. In fact, in England where tea is consumed about as regularly as in Japan, researchers found that they weren’t getting the same healing results as they found in China. The reason probably is because many people in England add milk to their tea. This is the only reason they have found to attribute to the difference in results.

Pre-made teas offer convenience and ease for those who just don’t have time to boil water and sit down to enjoy their cup of tea. That’s just the reality of the society we live in. However, if you do have time to boil that water and dip that tea bag, by all means, do so. You will find that your stress is lessened and you will get health benefits as well as stress relief when you drink your green tea this way.
